Susan Gallagher-Colurciello Boilermaker 5K

Susan Gallagher Colurciello, a preschool teacher, friend, and sister of our CEO,  passed away this May 2015 from a 3 year battle with breast cancer. Please join the Garfield YMCA and surrounding community as we look to raise money for the Garfield YMCA, Garfield Boilermakers High School Athletics Foundation, Veterans Day Dinner and American Cancer Society! With your help this run/walk can be as great as Susan.. Please join us on January 30th as we honor Susan's life, her battle, and now her spirit.

Runner packets can be picked up:
Race Morning starting at 9am.

Awards (not available race day, date to be determined post race)
5k Individuals-Medals to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers in each category. Trophy and gift card to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall finishers and trophy to 1st place Garfield resident male and female.
5k Teams-The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place team (5 members) will receive medals for each team member.
FUN RUN-Medals to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall finishers.

Age Groups
Male & Female: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80+
(Medals to the male and female 1st, 2nd & 3rd place runners in each age bracket.)

Team Rules for the Garfield Boilermaker 5k Race

• Each team must have 5 members or more.
• All participants must register for the race by individually completing an entry form and handing them in as a team with the appropriate payment.
• To participate in the competition, all teams must wear their team tee shirt as the outer-most layer of clothing during the entire race.
• The first five participants in one team to cross the finish line will be considered the winners.
• Team Rates: $100.00 for a team of 5 before 10/01/22 and $150.00 after 10/15/22
• For each additional member of your team of 5, please add $25.00 to the team entry fee.
