Race Information:
Come out and run off the turkey at the Fourth Annual Friends of Colin Turkey Trot. Pre-Black Friday shopping this fast and flat road race begins at Unami Park in Garwood and Cranford and takes you through the neighborhoods to a straight tree-lined finish. Parking is available in a lot on Lexington ave and along streets
The Friends of Colin Turkey Trot is in loving memory of our neighbor and friend, Colin Maher. Colin passed away of Ewing’s Sarcoma, a pediatric cancer of the bone at age 16. 100% of proceeds directly benefit the Friends of Colin, a youth run 501(c)3 nonprofit in the fight against pediatric cancer.

Schedule: 8:15am-9:45am: Bib and shirt pick-up and race day registration
10:00am: Run/ Walk start time 11:00am: Fun Run 11:30am: Awards Ceremony and Post- Race Refreshments
Entry Fee: 5K: $25 (by 11/11); $30 (11/12 & after). Race is rain or shine. No refunds. Shirt sizes are guaranteed if registered by11/11/16 . Fun Run: $5.
5k Course: Fast & Flat rolling course through Garwood and Cranford Neighborhoods. 50ft elevation change. Course starts and begins in Unami Park. Course includes water stop and mile marks.
Age Groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Awards: Top 3 overall Male & Female, Top 3 Male & Female in Each Age Group
Results: 5k run will be scored and winners will be announced at an awards ceremony following the race, results will be available at the race and online. Chip Timing done by Rock Race Timing.
