INTRODUCTION
Team Zebra Multisport is proud to present Lava Rocks Swim Fest! Born out of the unfortunate situation created by COVID-19 and the postponement of The Lava Rocks Sprint Triathlon, "The Lava Rocks Swim Fest" was BORN! With that, we are committed to making this your best race experience of the summer! We are offering two swims come race day, a one mile open water swim as well as a two mile option for those that wish to "Go Long"!. This is an awesome race for first timers, as well as a great race for the most competitive veteran! Both courses feature a looped course in the pristine waters of Barnegat Bay. A great venue for participants as well as spectators this course passes by two piers enabling spectators to get a super up-close and personal view of all the action as well as great photo op's! Our race site venue is set along the beautiful shores of the Lavallette Bayfront. You don't want to miss this event! Register today and join the fun!

The race is scheduled for June 12, 2021 - 8:00 a.m. sharp.

All events start and finish at Washington Avenue & Bay Boulevard, Bayfront Park, Lavallette, NJ.

Saturday 6/12/2021

6:30 am - 7:00 am Race-Day Registration Only!

6:30 am - 7:30 am Check-In

7:35 am - Course Q & A  - Pre-race briefing we will require ALL SWIMMERS to cross over the Swim timing mat before we can start the race.
8:00 am - Races start (waves based on # of entrants)
10:00 am - Courses close, race ends, Post-race food and refreshments

COURSE OVERVIEW

Swim (1 mile - 2 mile)
This is a great swim course for beginners as well as elite racers! Semi-protected one loop bay swim (1 mile course) two loops ( 2 mile course). Water depth allows for an awesome swim experience! The course will be laid out race day to take advantage of any wind push, making for fast swim times. Expected water temps low 70’s. Doesn’t get much better!
