Description
The Monmouth-Ocean County Special Olympics Track and Field Meet will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Long Branch High School.
We need at least 40 volunteers to help with escorting athletes, Paddock leaders, receivers, timing, awards and other tasks associated with the event. Volunteers should plan on being at the high school by 8:30 AM. The meet is usually over by 2 or 3 PM. If you can't be there by 8:30 or can't stay the entire time, that's fine. Just let me know ahead of time so I can be sure we have appropriate coverage.
If you are coming with family or friends, please make sure everyone is signed up so I have an accurate count.
Parents - If your children will be helping out and you would like me to write a community service letter after the event, please be sure to let us know ahead of time.
