Description
Maplewood PBA local #44 with the help of the MPD Community Service Bureau, will be hosting a 5k run as a fundraiser to donate to 'Troopers Assisting Troops', a NJ State Police organization that raises money to purchase service dogs for Vets suffering with PTSD. The race will be held on Nov 11th at 0900 hours ending at approximately 1200 hours. The event will be open to all ages. *Do to liability, we do ask that you please leave your dogs at home as the only k9's that will be on premise will be service animals. Thank you.
The Maplewood Police Department will also be on location collecting new or gently used coats which will be donated to the VA Hospital (sizes lg/xl needed).

Troopers Assisting Troops
Maplewood PBA #44 is hosting this 5k run as a fundraiser with 100% of proceeds going to 'Troopers Assisting Troops', State Police organization that raises money to purchase service dogs for Vets who suffer from PTSD. 'Troopers Assisting Troops' works with other organizations such as Wounded Warriors to help accommodate the Veterans in need. Please see the link for more information on 'TAT'.
