Halloween 5K Run/Walk. ONLINE CLOSED. SAME DAY REG 8AM

This fun community-inspired event will be run on our certified course from Newton High School's Parking Lot at through the roads of United Methodist Communities (Bristol Glen) and back to Newton High School.   The Newton Pride Foundation is thrilled to welcome you to our FUN RUN!  

Don your favorite costume, bask in your favorite alter - persona -  It's Halloween!  Let's make it a Costume Party as well.  Walk or run, have some fun!

We are (leashed) pet friendly.  

Packet pickup and same day registration is all on Saturday, opening at 8:00 a.m. inside the Newton High School gym.  Follow the parking signs, and let's keep the streets open for hundreds of fellow runners and walkers!

Race begins at 9:30AM, Rain or Shine!

Bagels, Wraps from Applebee's, fruit from Joe Veg, coffee and water for pre/post race nourishment. 

Awards Ceremony will begin around 10:40 am.

Frequent ghoulish water stops, mile splits, Halloween themed performance t-shirts, while enjoying some Halloween fun. 

All participants will have a chance to win overall 5k prizes.

Top three male and female overall finishers receive valuable prizes. 

Top 3 in each age group:  11 & under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39 on up to 80+ male and female. 

Cailey Jeweler Watches for fastest male and female age group winners 19 & under.

Prizes for those in costume for 19 and under,  male and female.

Prizes for those in costume for 20 and over, male and female. 

This USATF-NJ sanctioned  500 pt grand prix race features a new  USATF-NJ certified course.  The event will be bib chip timed, and encourage runner, joggers and walkers to strive for their best as some consider achieving personal goals for the year.  

Music,  complimentary food, wellness and fun will be had to celebrate the continued support  of the Newton High School Academic, Athletic and Social Clubs and to continue raising funds through sponsorship's, pledges and donations.
