Hook & Ladder Halloween Virtual Run

The Oceanport Hook and Ladder Volunteer Fire Company want to invite everyone to make this 2020 Halloween a healthy one by joining us for a Halloween Virtual Run or Walk. Runs and walks can be completed on your own time anywhere you are in the world the week leading up to Halloween. You can be on a treadmill, at the park, around town, or even just out trick-or-treating with the kids (if your town supports that this year). Wherever you are, make this year safe and healthy and support a good cause at the same time. Sign ups include an event T-Shirt.

Events to Choose from:

1. Pumpkin Walk/Run (1 mile ) :  Perfect for those with children. Record your race while trick or treating around town.
2. The Angel's Run (3.33 mile) :  Fly like an angel. Just a little bit longer than your traditional 5k.
3. The Devil's Run (6.66 mile) :   Run like a devil in this 6.66 miler.

All Three runs take place between October 25th to the 31st, choose any of those days to complete your run. For the experienced runners keep track of your time by using your fitness tracker. For those that are new to running and/or virtual runs simply download a free tracking app such as "map my run" onto your smart phone to keep track of your distance and time. Once you have completed your run submit your times and pictures of you run to the web site and see how you rank.
