MCW Muffin Madness Mile

This year we are opening up the opportunity for a Relay! Anyone is welcome to create a team of 4 and whichever team is the fastest will win a belt buckle. This will be in relay fashion where one team member will complete a loop and then tag the next team member to go. We will add up all of the times to confirm which team was the fastest. 
Teams of 3 are allowed but the person that goes first must also go last. There are no teams of 2 allowed.

Since 2018, we have provided clean water to 30,000 community members in Uganda and supply 2,000 gallons of clean water weekly to USA communities affected by lead contamination.

This race is for everyone. Whether you want to go as fast as you can, enjoy a nice stroll in the park, or walk with your entire family, anyone is welcome to join us. This is meant to be a moment for the community to get together, enjoy the start of nice weather, and celebrate making an impact on communities that need safe water. 

To support local coffee shops and bakeries, this race is going to have a fun muffin twist! With a muffin-based theme, each runner will be given a delicious muffin as a giveaway. We love food!

Race Packets: Two weeks before the race, we'll send out race packets so you're fully prepared. Now, let's dive into what to expect on race day!

Race Start: The race kicks off sharp at 9 am. To ensure a smooth start, we recommend arriving between 8:15 am - 8:45 am. Find convenient parking at Rahway River Park, near the picnic area just before the pool area (coordinates: 40.623175, -74.288540).

Registration and Bib Pickup: Upon arrival, head to the early registration area by the start. Here, you'll check in, grab your race bib, and snag some awesome giveaways.

Race Setup: At 8:45 am, we'll call on runners to gather at the start line, arranging based on expected completion time. Get ready to hit the pavement at 9 am sharp!

Post-Race Village: After conquering the course, a small village awaits! Reunite with family and friends, explore local businesses, and proudly collect your well-deserved medal.
