Description

Join us for our 8th annual Mayor's Challenge in 2026 with all proceeds to benefit 180 Turning Lives Around, a non-profit organization based in Freehold, NJ, dedicated to providing support and resources for individuals facing domestic and sexual violence in Monmouth County, NJ. Learn more about 180 Turning Lives around here.

The race route meanders through one of the hidden gems of Middletown - Poricy Park! The trail consists of wide grass paths, as well as some sections of single track. Poricy Park is not flat - beware of the hills!  This is a trail/cross-country course - race surfaces consist of grass, gravel and wooden platforms - trails are not paved. 

5K Fitness Walk: 3:00pm
1mi Fun Run: 3:30pm
5K Race: 3:45pm

This 5K run/walk is a costume run! Dress in your Halloween (run-safe) costume and complete the challenge. Post-race prizes include 5K run overall male & female & top age range male & female; 1 mile fun run top finishers; best costume (group, unique, and America 250 themed). Stay after for the Halloween Hullabaloo!
