Description
The Roseland Recreation Department is proud to announce the Lou LaSalle Memorial 5K. This year's race carries special meaning as we honor the life and legacy of Louis "Lou" LaSalle, a longtime Roseland resident and dedicated community leader. Throughout his life, Lou demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to service, leadership and community. A U.S. Army veteran, he built a distinguished professional career in insurance and healthcare, including many years of leadership at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and RWJBarnabas Health.
Lou's commitment to Roseland extended well beyond his professional accomplishments. He was a respected and active member of our community and generously volunteered at the Annual Run for Roseland 5K each year. In recognition of his service and dedication, we are honored to rename our annual race the Lou LaSalle Memorial 5K.
