BFF 4th Annual Ugly Sweater Fun 5k

RUN FOR A REASON THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!!

Come out and help spread some cheer this holiday season for those that need it most!

Wear your cheesiest holiday sweater & get ready to run or walk our fun, NON-COMPETITIVE 5k! This is all about fun & getting into the holiday spirit, so the event will not be timed.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsor, D'Arcy Johnson Day Lawyers, runners will receive a Finisher's medal* and are invited to stay and enjoy post-run refreshments, courtesy of Doc's. Adult beverages will be available for purchase for particiapnts 21yr & over.

 To add to the fun, a prize will be awarded for the Ugliest Sweater for in each category:

• Youth (13 years & younger)
• Adult (14 years &  older)
• Team (matching or same-theme, at least 3 members)

This event is open to EVERYONE- bring your families & friends! Kids are welcome to run or walk as far as they would like to go with their parents.

Cost:

Monetary donation of your choice to benefit St Jude Children's Research Hospital. All donations will be made in honor of Ricky McAvaddy, a local hero who lost his battle with leukemia 6 years ago. Cash or checks made payable to St. Jude will be accepted race day. There is no online donation option this year.

We will also be collecting donations of NEW toys for Everyone's Children Toy Drive which provides local families the opportunity to "shop" for their children for the holidays. Please being a new, unwrapped toy.

Thanks again to DJD, adults  (21 yr +) will receive a ticket for a complimentary post-race cocktail when they make a donation ($10 minimum) or bring a new toy ($10 minimum value)- one ticket per adult donation.

7:30-8:15 AM - Sign-In & Day-of Registration/Donation drop-off

8:30 AM -5k Run/Walk

9:30- awards  

*Finisher medals are gauranteed for the first 100 registered participants only.
