“Ricky” 267 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run
The “Ricky” 5k Run Event memorializes the untimely passing within months of each other of three outstanding individuals of the Union City Police Department, Officer Ricky Fernandez ★ Lt. Mark Zeitounian ★ Officer John Kamel and the following year the passing of ★Lt. Gregory Katseyanis. These individual served our community with the most highest integrity and honor and with great success.
The proceeds of the 5K Run will go toward a scholarship for a student graduating from Union City High School to inspire and help them pursue a career in law enforcement in memory of
