Westfield Turkey Trot Preview Run

Join us for a preview run of the Westfield Turkey Trot 5 Mile route. OPEN TO ALL AGES, GENDERS, ABILITIES, AND PACES. (Please note, runners under 18 must be accompanied by a parent who runs with them throughout the course.) Come and meet fellow Trotters before event day and learn the course. This is a FREE event, but please RSVP so we know to expect you. Bagels, juice, and water will be provided after your run!

We will help to organize you into small groups of similar paces if you want to run with others. Printed maps, a turn-by-turn narrative, and the link to our MapMyRun will be provided so you can follow the turns along the residential streets. We will also have a support team on wheels to help keep you on track and will provide our phone numbers to you.

We recommend arriving around 9am to leave time for parking, meeting the group, getting maps, asking race questions, using the restrooms, stretching, etc. Meet at the large parking lot for the tennis courts/restrooms which is about 3/4 of the way around the park if you enter from the main Lamberts Mill Rd. entrance. The park can be very busy on weekends and parking may be limited. Please arrive early to ensure you find parking (which may need to be in a different lot or on the surrounding streets) and meet the group prior to the start time. 

Our course design allows for you to preview the route while choosing to complete 3, 4, or 5 miles. For 3 miles, you may start at approximately the 1.25 mile mark within the park and end at the same spot returning to the park at approximately 4.4 miles. For 4 miles, you may start at the 1 mile mark within the park.
