Our annual Riverfest 10K, 5K, & 2-mile walk is just around the corner on Saturday, May25, 2024 at 8AM. Both runs and walk will start and finish at the Animas Park parking lot area and run along the scenic river trails. 10K and 5K runs will be using electronic chip timing! All entries receive a race t-shirt and there will be age group awards, both male and female, for the 10K and 5K. After the race, stroll around Berg Park and enjoy the music and other Riverfest activities!

Fee: $30 for 10K & 5K (Late fee $40 begins 4pm 5/24/24)
$15 for 2-mile walk (Late fee $20 begins 4pm 5/24/24)

15-19 yrs.
20-29 yrs.
30-39 yrs.
40-49 yrs.
50-59 yrs.
60-69 yrs.
70+ yrs.

A message from Evan Pilling, Outdoor Recreation Coordinator for the City of Farmington.

Hello Riverfest Runners and Walkers!  We're excited for tomorrow's 5k, 10k, and Fun Walk and we hope you are too.  

 Few updates for the event:

-For the 10k runners, please note that we have modified the course to keep it in the river path system and off the road. This will make the run safer for participants and provide a better experience. The 10k course is now an out and back extension from the Broadway Bridge heading west towards Among the Waters Park and back. There is an updated course map attached; please make sure to take a look so you're familiar with the change. There will also be updated course markings and volunteers throughout the course.

-We are adding 3 water stations so there will be water available for each course option.  

-Please exercise caution in the Rocky Reach Terrace area on the return leg of the courses (as you approach Riverside Nature Center). There may be issues with Riverfest vendor access and we anticipate some congestion.
