Santa Fe Striders Running Festival

Be a part of the Santa Fe Striders Running Festival on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at the Municipal Recreation Sports Complex. There will be 5K and 10K cross country course and races with distances that vary with age group for younger runners. The 5K & 10K courses are on trail/dirt roads except for .25 miles.

Races for 3 - 14 Years Old Runners

For our younger runners we have several free races based on age. Why? To get kids moving! To promote a healthy 
lifestyle and educate kids about running. 

3 – 4 yrs old – 200 meters 
5 – 6 yrs old – 400 meters 
7 – 8 yrs old – 800 meters 
9 – 10 yrs old – 1 mile 
11 – 14 yrs old – 2 miles

You MUST check in by 8:45 am to receive your race number. 

Free giveaway (SWAG) guaranteed if registered by June 25.

5K & 10K Cross Country Race

Awards: Cash Prizes to Top Male, Female & Non-Binary Overall*
First Place - $100
Second Place - $75
Third Place - $50
First Male & Female Masters (40+) - $35
Standard 10 year age groups.

*No duplication of awards. Awards will not be mailed. Recipients must be present, or arrange for someone to pick up their award(s).

Free shirt (SWAG) guaranteed if registered by June 25.

Registration: Online registration closes on July 17 @ 11:59 pm
Race Day registration opens at 7:00 a.m.

Registration Fees: $40 before May 31; $45 June 1 - July 17.
Race Day registration $50 (cash or card only)

Registration Fee for Teams: $75

5K TEAM DIVISIONS ONLY:

High School Boys - Team consists of 5 male runners / top 3 score

High School Girls - Teams consists of 5 female runners / top 3 score

High School Coed - Team consists of 5 (3 boys & 2 girls OR 2 boys & 3 girls) / Top 2 boys & girl score OR Top 2 girls & boy scores

Awards to Top Team in each division.
