Niue Marathon

The Niue Marathon will take place on August 16th, 2025, near the capital city of Alofi in the country of Niue. The flying time from Auckland, New Zealand is approximately 3 1/2 hours. However, you cross the international dateline headed east so you arrive a day earlier from when you leave. The course will probably consist of multiple loops on roads and the route won’t be finalized until we arrive on the island. The race headquarters will be the Scenic Matavai Resort.  Because registration is free, there are no T-shirts or finisher awards. Runners must sign a release and wear a timing device. You must confirm your finishing time with the race officials. The generous cut off time is 8+ hours. The Run is self supported with only one aid station located at the start/finish. If you register for this event you are also automatically registered for the other marathon in Vanuatu on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
