Fast & Furriest 5K and Festival

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED, BUT YOU CAN STILL REGISTER IN PERSON!!  You may register in person for the Fast & Furriest event on 11.15 at Lazy Dog Restaurant in Town Square from 11:00am - 6:00pm, 11.16 The Animal Foundation in the Clinic Lobby from 8:30am - 6:00pm, 11.17 at Sunset Park (event location) from 7:30am - 9:00am.  Don't miss out and bring your furry friend with you!!

Take part in The Animal Foundation's 6th annual Fast & Furriest event on Saturday, November 17th at Sunset Park.  This pet-friendly 5K and one mile walk celebrates pets and the people who love them!  Enjoy some fresh air, exercise and quality time with your two-legged or four-legged friend, all to raise funds to save lives.  Each registrant will receive an event t-shirt, participation medal and numbered bib.  After your run or walk, stay and enjoy the festival featuring food trucks, vendors, adoptable dogs, microchipping and nail trimming, contests and more!  

FORM A TEAM TODAY!
Forming a team is the biggest and best way you can support Fast & Furriest. By doing so, you help us spread the word to more potential participants and magnify the impact of the event.  You’ll also be doing your group a favor, since uniting to support a common goal is a great way to bond and build camaraderie. Invite family, friends and coworkers to help you fundraise for The Animal Foundation.  Show your team spirit and get involved!  It’s easy to do: Start by registering yourself here and answer “yes” to the question “Would you like to join a Group/Team” on the first page. Prompts will guide you from there. Once you’ve registered, your team will have its own dedicated website that others can visit to sign up – which means no signup paperwork for you!

MAKE EVERY STEP COUNT BY FUNDRAISING FOR HOMELESS PETS AT THE ANIMAL FOUNDATION
Whether you are participating on your own or as part of a team, now you can make your race participation mean even more by setting up your own fundraising page.  Share your page with friends and family; let them know that as they support you, they are also helping save the lives of homeless animals in need in the Las Vegas Valley. 

CAN'T MAKE IT? RUN A VIRTUAL RACE WITH US!  
Even if you can't make it to Sunset Park on November 17th you - and your friends - can still support The Animal Foundation via a virtual race from any location you choose.  You can run, jog or walk in your own neighborhood or at the gym on a treadmill.  You get to run your own race at your own pace.  You can even create a virtual team!  And, you can still invite friends and family to support you on your own fundraising page.  NOTE: Virtual participants still need to register in order to receive your t-shirt, participation medal and numbered bib.  Let others support you and The Animal Foundation by setting up your own fundraising page.

Thursday, 11/15 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Location: Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar at Town Square Las Vegas
Friday, 11/16 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at The Animal Foundation 655 North Mojave Rd. Las Vegas, NV 89101 (clinic lobby)
If you cannot attend packet pickup, they will be available race day beginning at 7:30 a.m.                                                                                                     

EVENT DAY SCHEDULE 

• 7:30 a.m. Packet pick-up, race-day registration and festival begins
• 9:00 a.m. 5K Run
• 9:15 a.m. One-mile walk
• 10:00 a.m. 5K winners announced on stage
• 11:00 a.m. Dog contests begin
• 11:30 a.m. Raffle winner announced (all 5K and one-mile participants receive a raffle ticket)
• 12:00 p.m. Festival Ends
