Grab your pup and join us on Saturday, October 9th at Sunset Park’s Dunes Trail Loop for our first-ever Nevada SPCA Neon Dog Walk presented by community partner The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas! This will be a family-friendly glow-in-the-dark 1.7-mile fun walk you definitely won’t want to miss!
Check-in and wag bag pick-up begins at 4:30 pm, and the walk will kick off at 6 pm! Join fellow dog-lovers and their pups and walk for a cause! Deck yourself and your dog out in glow-in-the-dark swag and light the trail! Sign-up and start fundraising today to be eligible for great prizes for individuals and teams who raise the most money!
REGISTER to participate and prepare for a “glowing” evening of fun as we celebrate our furry friends and raise funds for homeless pets in Southern Nevada! After the walk, head over to the Neon Village located adjacent to the trail for food, drinks, entertainment, live music from local musician Jonny Hazard, beer garden, contests, and lots of pet-friendly vendors on the grass. The Neon Village is open to the general public. Joanna from Sunny 106.5’s “AJ and Joanna in the Morning” show will be our emcee for the night along with JJ Snyder, Co-host of The Vegas Morning Blend at ABC-13 KTNV Las Vegas. Scheduled appearances include Vegas Golden Knight’s very own “Golden Pipes” Carnell Johnson, Elvis (Brenden Paul), Harmik (the Tom Jones clone), and magician, John Rotellini.
The first 300 walk participants will receive a commemorative 2021 Neon Dog Walk T-shirt and an exclusive “wag bag” filled with goodies from our community partners. Sign-up and start fundraising today! You can join us as a virtual participant and you will receive a commemorative T-shirt.
Registration is $35 per person. Children 5-12 entry fee is $15 at checkout. Entry is free for children under 5. Strollers are welcome. Dogs walk for free! For the safety of attending dogs and children, we request that all dogs are leashed, friendly, well-behaved, and vaccinated. Registration on the day of the event is $40 per person and entry fee for children ages 5-12 is $20.

Absolutely! When you sign up for our walk, be sure to click the "become a fundraiser" option before completing your registration.
Where does my fundraising money go?
Proceeds from the Neon Dog Walk benefit the Nevada SPCA. Nevada SPCA provides shelter and care for homeless pets in Southern Nevada. Our work and efforts are dedicated to bringing pets and people together by finding them loving new homes and inspiring a more humane community.
Can I bring my dog(s)?
Yes, all well-mannered dogs are welcome to come with their owners and must remain on a leash at all times.
Do I have to pay for my dog to walk with me?
No, all dogs walk for free along with their registered owners!
Can I walk with my family?
Yes, the more the merrier! You can also create a team for your family and fundraise together with all registered participants.
Can I start a team?
Yes, when you register you have the options to "become a fundraiser" and also "create a team." The team with the highest donation total will be eligible to win a prize on the day of the event!
What do I wear at the event?
Show up and GLOW UP! Deck you and your pup(s) out in glow-in-the-dark gear. The registered participant and their pup in attendance who are voted as "Best in Glow" will be eligible to win a prize the day of the event.
What is a Neon Village?
The Neon Village is the central location for food, fun, entertainment, and shopping at a variety of vendor booths throughout the event! The Neon Village will be open to the general public.
