DWT Run This Mother!

This is a fun run to help raise funds for our Competition and Performing Group Teams! We also use this as a way to give back to a charity that our teams choose.

We would love everyone to get out and Run This Mother on Mother's Day Weekend 2022! What better way to spend time together by doing something fun, outdoor and enjoying some time spent.....ar maybe mom wants some along time too! Either way you choose to do it- we want to have fun with this event- make sure you upload your training pics, your paths, and most importantly your results the weekend of the event using the #DWTRUNTHISMOTHER! We will be watching and cheering you on!

Special for this year- you can choose to do it virtually or in person with friends at the studio- we will post a path that involves some paths through the development around the studio area. We will post times for people to get together that weekend throughout the next couple weeks. 

This year the team chose to support The Santiago Strong Foundation. Half of the proceeds from the run will go to the charity. a little background on why they chose this: Miss Kelly recently traveled to see a lifelong friend who started this foundation as a tribute to his son, Santiago Buther. Eric and his wife are Hudson Valley natives who now live in South Carolina, just outside Charlotte. Their son Santiago was diagnosed with DiPG, a very rare form of brain cancer and became an angel warrior in January of 2020. Since then Santiago's family has continued his earthly fight by helping families who are also in this fight with their children. The Buther family saw how blessed they were to have such an amazing support system and want to help provide that for other families going through this heartbreaking journey. One day there will be a cure but until then they vow to be Santiago Strong, because we are stronger together! Check them out: SantiagoStrong.org
