SAY YEA 2 IDEA (Individuals  with Disabilities Education Act IDEA)

There will be a virtual 5k run/walk hosted by GPS to Success Tutoring Service. 

This organization seeks to raise funds for the benefit of well-deserving children who are receiving special education services in school. A law known as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) mandates that public schools provide appropriate educational services to children with disabilities. The provision of these additional services will enable children to achieve their individual academic goals.

Often, children are made to feel ashamed that they were selected to participate in IDEA's educational support services. Often, parents are not provided with the correct information regarding special education services, so they are unaware that special education services are supportive and can be used to help children attain academic success.
