The proceeds from this year's race will benefit the Badge of Honor Association and Brockport Food Shelf.
The Badge of Honor Association focuses on raising money for the families of Police Officers in the event of a line of duty death. The Association also supports officers involved in critical or serious incidents while on duty covering all law enforcement across the 24 counties of Western and Central New York.
The mission of the Brockport Food Shelf is to end hunger in our community. The average monthly number of
families served is 182. Over the course of a year, the Food Shelf provides food for approximately 65,148 meals plus an additional 2,920 holiday meals as well as sponsoring programs such as the BackPack program in the Brockport Central Schools, providing bags of food for children who would otherwise go hungry over the weekend.
