Description
THE SOUNDVIEW 5K & 10K is a race within Soundview Park in the Bronx, now with a 10K option and a 5K Walk! The paved course is flat and fast, with one hell of a hairpin turn. You’ll run (or walk) through an urban green space with playgrounds, soccer and baseball fields, and an amphitheater. Oh, and you’ll also pass along the Bronx River!

Early Bird Pricing Breakdown:
Early Bird (until New Year’s): $25 for the 5K Run or Walk / $35 for the 10K
Regular (until 30 days before the event): $30 / $40
30 Days Out (30 to 7 days before the event): $35 / $45
Final Week (7 days before until the day before the event): $40 / $50
Same-Day Registration (event day only): $50 / $60
Distance Changes
Distance changes between the 5K and 10K are not permitted on race day. If you need to switch distances, please do so before race day. Same-day bib swaps or distance changes will not be honored.
Upgrades from the 5K to the 10K before race day require payment of the price difference.
Awards
A prize will be awarded to the 1st place male and 1st place female finishers in both the 5K and the 10K.
Finisher medals for all participants, runners and walkers alike.
Age group awards go to the top male and female in each age group for both the 5K and the 10K:
- 17–29
- 30–39
- 40–49
- 50–59
- 60+

- 8:00 AM: Bib Pickup and Bag Check open
- 9:30 AM: 10K Start
- 9:40 AM: 5K Run Start
- 9:45 AM: 5K Walk Start

Q: Are there medals for this race?
A: Yes, medals will be given for this race!
Q: Are walkers allowed? Are Baby Strollers allowed?
A: Yes & Yes! Walkers and parents with strollers can sign up for the Friends & Family wave. Walkers will have a 1 hour 50 minute time frame to complete the 5k distance.
Q: What If I can't make it? Can I get a refund?
A: There are no refunds for this race, but we are allowing bib transfers if you'd like for someone else to take your place.
Q: Will vaccination status be checked at the race?
A: Vaccination status will not be checked at the race, but upon signing up for the race, you agreed to follow CDC'S guidelines to help in the prevention of the spread of Covid-19. If you are feeling unwell, or have been in contact with someone who has Covid-19, we strongly urge you to stay home.
Q: Will there be bibs for this race? If so, when and where will we be able to get them?
A: Yes, there are bibs for this race. Bibs will be given out the morning of the race, at Soundview Park, beginning at 8:00am. Pins will be provided.
Q: Will there be a bag check area?
A: Yes, we'll have a bag check area with volunteer staff monitoring your belongings.
Q: Will there be post race refreshments provided?
A: Yes, we'll have waters and fruit for registered runners and walkers.
Q: Can my friends/family cheer for me along the course?
A: Yes! Absolutely we'd love to see folks cheering along the course.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Animals and pets are not allowed on the race course, but if you are a person with a disability and will need your service animal with you we will accommodate.
