Please join us for Laps of Love Outdoor Inclusion Exhibit!
For 2021, we have reimagined our annual walk/run/roll in Lauren's Shoes event to become a COVID conscious community event.
Socially distanced or virtually we can keep the momentum going to honor our CP Community while raising funds and awareness for the Make Lemon Aide Foundation for Cerebral Palsy.
Goals: Avoid Crowds, allow participants to attend the waterfront safely and at their leisure, Promote social distancing, encourage mask wearing, provide virtual options, celebrate diversity, Highlight the Outer Harbor as accessible Buffalo destination, Encourage exercise and positive attitude, Foster empathy and uplifting sense of community, raise funds to support both children and adults living with CP.
How it works:
You can walk/run/roll through our one mile course safely on your own, socially distanced where we have created uplifting sections to celebrate and educate our community on inclusion, kindness, empathy, CP facts, and acceptance for the entire community.to see, feel and be honored during these covid times.
Look for: Empathy Entrance, Friendship Field, Love Lane, Kindness Corner, Path of possibilities,- each section will highlight various items.
Funds raised will be used to award therapy grants for First Step Symptom Recovery Model.
Thank you dearly for your support! We hope to be back together in person in 2022!
