Calling ALL LADIES!!!
Come run / walk and celebrate all the SUPER MOMS out there on one of the flattest and most scenic courses on Long Island!
This event will welcome participants of every type, age and capability to run, walk, jog ...push the kiddos in a stroller!
Moms, Daughters, Sisters, Grandma's, Aunts, Step-Moms, Adoptive Moms, Foster Moms and of course...Mom's-to-be!
A great new tradition to start with that special woman in all of our lives!
Strollers are welcome!
START TIME: 9am
*You have to arrive before 8am to avoid the parking fee charged by the State Parks Department. Please plan ahead!
5K AWARDS:
Top three male and female finishers overall
Top three (3) males and females in the following age groups:
14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+
AMENITIES:

Fun Run open to children 12 and under

CHARITABLE GIVING INITIATIVE:
The STRONG ISLAND RUNNING CLUB recognizes the importance of "giving back" to our community. As such, we have aligned ourselves to assist in fundraising on behalf of TEAM RED WHITE AND BLUE. This 501 (c) 3 Charity assists our wounded veterans in a multitude of ways including participation in athletics. Attend a STRONG ISLAND RUNNING CLUB event and help us help our local veterans.
For this event we have also aligned ourselves with a charitable group that helps local mothers and families in need, called the Nest Egg. This organization assists families and mothers in finding support, education, and services, as well as delivering postpartum care packages and meals to new families. Hi,
As we draw closer to spring, we are planning for the SUPER MOM 5K and Fun Run.
In addition to organizing this healthy, family-friendly event to celebrate all the SUPER MOM’S out there…year after year have helped to raise funds for Team Red, White and Blue. A charity that assists combat wounded veterans along with food donations to help our neighbors in need with our partners at Island Harvest Food Bank.
We are hoping that you'd be interested in sponsoring our event...
We have five sponsorship levels available:
Title Sponsor: $1000: Signage at the Start / Finish / Water Station along with logo on top location of the participant shirts and registration portal...plus 10 free entries into the race
Start & Finish Sponsor: $500: Signage at the Start and Finish along with priority location on shirts and registration portal...plus 6 free entries into the race.
Start or Finish Sponsor: $250: Signage at either the Start or Finish along with large logo on shirts, portal and 4 free entries
Mile Marker Sponsor: $150: Signage at one of the miles along the course, logo on shirts, portal and 2 free entries.
Participant Shirt Sponsor: $100: With your $100 sponsorship you will receive 2 complimentary entries into the race to give to whomever you like along with your logo on all of the participant shirts and on the registration portal with a clickable link.
We announce all of our sponsors at the event and in the pre/post-race emails sent to each of the participants. As always, sponsors are invited to setup a table / tent at the event to handout whatever you’d like!
