True Runner Race Again in Queens

A chip-timed race through beautiful Flushing Meadow Corona park with hourly wave starts of less than 20 persons and maintaining CDC standards to assure a safe experience.  The course is mostly flat with few turns and long straightaways that provide you with views of NYC, the Unisphere, and lake over a 3.27 mile loop that you will complete 4 times. 

Leave your valuables with the race team at the start.  Flushing Meadow Corona Park is the heart of Queens, runners from all over the world come here for an experience that locals cherish.  Be prepared to experience this place for your first time or umpteenth time with the challenge of our times.  The race will include limited support on the course, water, and power gels, distributed at two points on the course providing opportunities for support during the race, approximately every mile.  Water will be provided in sealed plastic bottles and gels in gel packs that you will have to grab on your own in order to limit contact.  Multiple splits provided throughout to assure adherence to the course and provide you and your fans with real-time updates on your progress.  Run with your phone and headphones and use the RaceJoy app to get auditory course guidance, mile, and pace announcements, and so that your friends can watch your progress as well as send you cheers while you run.  Afterward, pick up your unique runner's jersey and finishers medal.  If you are part of a running club or team your overall or age group place will contribute points towards our Winter Half Marathon Series.  All club and team members also contribute one point for participation so age and overall place are not the only reason to be there.  A great time to go the distance in a beautiful setting, perfect for preparing your return to racing in 2021.
