Location/Course: Start: Islip Town Hall, corner of South Bay Avenue and Montauk Hwy to Islip Town Beach, and back to Islip Town Hall area. Straight and flat, just like we like em’.

Entry Fee: Adults $30 pre-registration or $40 day-of-race registration
16 and Under $15 pre-registration or $25 day-of-race registration

Awards: Presented to the first overall male and female finishers; first male and female Islip Village residents; and the top 3 male and female runners in the following age categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35–39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75& Over

Be a part of this 10th Annual race, aka CANCER SUCKS 5K, held in the Town of Islip. All proceeds go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Pre-race registration entry fee includes EVENT T-SHIRT, OFFICIAL COURSE LAYOUT, OFFICIAL TIMING CHIP AND RESULTS. Race t-shirts are only guaranteed to participants who pre-register for the race before October 14th. Get there early and enjoy the Islip Fire Department Street Fair, as well as LIVE MUSIC before the race. Stick around after the race for the AWARDS PRESENTATION, REFRESHMENTS, and best of all more LIVE MUSIC.
