Place

130 Oakdale Road
Johnson City, NY US 13790

Description

[plog-ing]: picking up trash while on a walk or run

Originally invented by Swedish native Erik Ahlström, the term plogging is a combination of "plocka upp" and "jogga", and since its inception in 2017 has been making the world - and humans - feel better!

Join us on Saturday, April 23, 2022 across New York State as we run and/or walk in our communities to pick up trash! Gloves and trash bags will be available to participants. You can participate from any of the locations listed above, but also feel free to plog on your own if you can't make it to one of these locations! If you're plogging in Binghamton, there will be a dumpster available at Confluence Running, Binghamton available to you. You can also check with your site leader for other trash disposal options near you.

Please select an option below (all events are free!) so that we can prepare for quantities.

INTERESTED IN BEING A SITE LEADER? Email elisabeth@confluencerunning.com to be listed on this registration page!

If you're in the Binghamton area, you're invited to join us at our post-plogging party at Factory by Beer Tree! Details are being finalized, and more information to come soon.

Post-plogging party details in our other locations are also forthcoming.

**STAY TUNED AS MORE SITES ARE BEING ADDED DAILY!**
