Jordan Fall Festival 5K Run/Walk & Fun Run

Come out and enjoy the festivities of the Jordan Fall Festival with the “new” 1st annual Jordan Fall Festival 5K & Fun Run. Take the opportunity to run the Village streets of Jordan along with a section of the historic Erie Canal as part of the 5K Run/Walk course.

The race begins on Foote St. and participants travel by the Festival grounds before heading onto Peru Rd. followed by a left turn onto the Erie Canal Tow Path and finishing on the Festival grounds. On site parking is available for all participants and their supporters and cheerleaders.

The cost of the race is $20.00 until August 22nd. Take the opportunity to register early and save money before the price increase on opening day of The New York State Fair. The cost of the race will be $25.00 for the remainder of registration which will close on September 12th. No refunds will be issued.

All participants that register before September 1st will be guaranteed a T-shirt. Those participants that register after September1st will not be guaranteed a race shirt, but a limited number of shirts will be available for purchase on race day. You can also use the online mail in registration form.

Packet pickup will be held on September 14th on the Festival grounds located inside the pavilion from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. There will also be race day packet pickup from 7:00 to 8:30 am. Additionally, you may wish to register in person during those times.

The Fun Run will begin at 9:00 am followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 9:15 am. The course will be closed at 11:00 am. An awards ceremony will take place between 10:15am.and 10:30am.

There will be awards for the top 3 males and females completing the 5K. There also will be first place age group awards in 10 year increments; 10-19, 20-29, 30-39,40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+. 

All funds raised by this event will be distributed to local programs such as the local food pantry, local youth programs, senior citizen programs, the Jordan Memorial Pool, scholarship programs and many more community oriented programs. The Festival is staffed by all volunteers and our goal is to to continue the growth of our community.
