AEF 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Kids Run

The Arlington Education Foundation is pleased to announce our 2024 "Arlington on the Move" event, in person at Arlington High School on April 27, 2024! Three in-person races (5K, 1 Mile Kids Run and 1 Lap Fun Run) will be offered along with a virtual 5K option for those who can't join us in person. Whether you are a beginner, an advanced runner, or a walker, everyone is welcome. All registrants will be automatically entered for the free door prize raffle. Race Start Times: 5K at 9 a.m., 1M at 8:45 a.m. and 1 Lap Fun Run at 8:30 a.m.

Register by April 1st to receive a free event t-shirt!  T-shirts will not be available to those who register after that date.

For those who pre-register, your packet (including your t-shirt if you register by April 1st) will be available for pickup on race day, April 27th starting at 7:30 a.m. 

If you're not able to participate in person on April 27th, you can participate virtually, anytime/anywhere, from April 8-April 27, 2024. Tell family and friends in other parts of the country and participate virtually together! 

Results for both the in-person race and the virtual race will be posted on this web page.  You will also have an opportunity to upload photos to the site. You can share the event with literally anyone! And if you refer 5 people who then sign up using your unique referral code, you will get your race entry fee for free.

For students and staff of the Arlington Central School District, this is your chance to bring the AEF Cup back to your school. The AEF Cup will go to the school with the greatest number of participants and be displayed in that school for a full school year.
