Description
Location: TBD
Time: 8am
The Kindness Matters Walk will be held in person in New York City on Thanksgiving morning and virtually wherever you are for 2025! All participants are encouraged to register online in advance of the walk.
How does the virtual walk work? You can run, walk, rollerblade, kayak, or even push a stroller on your own 5K. It’s your choice! We will be streaming a live event complete with giveaways, contests, speakers, and more on 11/27/2025 at 8:00 am PST. Post pictures of you/your group as you do your activity, and post to Facebook and Instagram with the hashtag "#KMWalk2025" - we would love to see you!
Event Challenge:
Starting on 11/14/25 through 11/26/25, participants can log miles walked, ran, biked or swam. We'll have some awards for those participants with the most miles. *** If you want to participate in the event challenge (i.e., who walks or runs the most miles), you will need to register for the virtual walk - and of course you are welcome to walk in-person on 11/27 in NYC even if you register for the virtual walk ***
Registration is simple - just click the "Sign Up" button to start your registration process. Register yourself or others in your family/group - and please create or join an existing team if you'd like. Registration is $20 per person ($10 for ages 0-18). Each participant will have the option during the registration process to select an "add on" walk shirt. The add-on purchase options will only be available until: 10/31/2025.
You also have the option to make a donation directly to the KM Legacy Fund at the Orange County Community Foundation at oc-cf.org - another great way to support the KM Legacy Foundation! (optional)
Kindness is cool ... and so are our sponsors! You will see our event sponsors on the screens during registration. Please help support these companies/groups as they have so generously supported the KM Legacy Foundation. Thank you sponsors!
Proceeds from the KM Walk support brain tumor research at a national level, and young adult leadership development opportunities locally in the Fullerton Joint Union High School District.
