Strides Of Hope All Cancers Matter 5K Run/Walk

Strides of Hope All Cancers Matter 5K Run/Walk event will bring a community together that offers support for those in need that have been impacted by cancer. This event is being held by a youth in our community Avery Booggard that would like to raise funds to help families impacted by cancer and in honor of her family member that has been impacted by cancer. The funds raised at the 5K Run/Walk Event will help provide direct services to individuals and families affected by cancer free of charge. This event will also allow us to grow our youth club to help youth learn skills to help them through the diagnosis of cancer, family member’s diagnosis or passing of a loved one from cancer, youth development activities, and to help with a pilot program for a food pantry for families and caregivers.

We will have raffles at the 5k. After 5k we will pull the raffle winners and then proceed with medals for awards.

Run or walk on our certified 5K road race at Oak Park Resort Marina in North Rose, NY to help raise funds for individuals and families impacted by cancer in our community.

Cost: Children age 17 and under are $15                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           18 and older are $25
Includes t- shirt in cost if registered by September 25th. Not guaranteed a t-shirt after September 25th.
Shirts Small to XL free.
Shirts that are 2x-4x there will be an extra charge of 5.00 per shirt.
 
Schedule of Events: 8:00 am - Check-in and Registration Opens at the barn at Oak Park Marina.

8:55 am - Make your way to starting line for 9am race.

9:00 am - Race Begins Awards ceremony will begin 15 minutes after the race is concluded at the barn at Oak Park Marina.Award Ceremony:
When racers and walkers are finished there will be refreshments and award ceremony.
Awards for the overall top 3 male and female runners and awards in each age category.
