Frozen Looper

Time 8am-12pm

Come join us on January 21st at Lakeside Park and show up between the hours 8am-12pm for a bone chilling run. During that time, run the flat 0.54 mile loop in the park as many times as possible. Every loop will earn you a skull bead that you can later make into a necklace or bracelet. And every participant will take home a limited edition EDRRC fleece blanket to stay warm after those cold winter runs!

Details

To participate all you'll need is some warm clothes, a good pair of sneakers and all your favorite friends! When you have completed your run (or walk!) you will be rewarded with a skull bead for every half mile (each loop you complete). To compete for the overall male and female awards you will have to let us know you're competing and show that you have no miles logged on your app or watch before you start.

Awards and Swag

The first 125 entrants who sign up will receive a cozy fleece blanket!

Overall male and female medal award for the male and female who completes the most laps in 4 hours.

There will also be some surprise race day FUN awards! *wink wink*

Our Famous Frozen Looper CHILI CONTEST is Back!

To keep everyone warm during and after the Frozen Looper, Rob Phillips will be hosting our famous Chili Contest! Anyone can participate - simply cook up your best pot of chili and bring it to the event. It is best to bring it hot in a crockpot as we will be able to keep it warm throughout the event (we have electricity by the pavilion). We will supply the cups and spoons. And oh yes, there is an AWARD for the chili that comes out on top!
