Description
Fleet Feet Sports Swim Program
Join us this summer for our swim program! This 7 week session will take place on Thursdays at the Brighton High School Pool and run July 2nd through August 13th. This program is great for those that know how to swim and are looking to improve their abilities.
Eached coached workout will help you with technique and increase endurance in the water. This class will be freestyle focused but will also introduce other strokes and drills to help you with stroke refinement. The class will also focus on workouts based on your current fitness level to improve strength and endurance in the water.
Swim Program Participant Requirements
- The ability to swim 50m without stopping
- Have a familarity with lap swimming (you don't need to do it well)
- Open to the opportunity to learn new strokes
- Feel comfortable in the water
The Swim Program Includes:
Beginner and advanced workouts staggered based on ability to increase endurance level of all participants
Stroke refinement and technique drills

All swim workouts will take place at the Brighton High School Pool every Thursday starting July 2nd: 2035 Monroe Ave, Rochester, NY 14618
What to expect for the first session: A 100m (or 50m) time trial will be conducted. Based on your time and skill level Coach Dana will assign you to a specific lane for the rest of the program.
