Plates Mile

Start Time: 7 pm (gates open at 6 pm)
Run 1 Mile while eating 4 10oz "Trash Cans"!
10 oz. “Trash Can”, 1/4 mile, 10 oz. “Trash Can”, 1/4 mile, 10 oz. “Trash Can”, 1/4 mile, 10 oz. “Trash Can”, 1/4 mile.
Each "Trash Can" will contain: mac salad, home fries and meat hot sauce. We will have trash cans without meat hot sauce available for vegetarians.
THE PLATES MILE IS BACK! The Plates have partnered with YellowJacket Racing and Fleet Feet to bring runners and plate aficionados together for the 2nd annual Plates Mile at Frontier Field on Thursday, June 27. Gates will open at 6 pm with the race beginning at 7 pm. Unlike last season, this year’s race is not being held on a game day.
THE RACE: Participants will eat FOUR 10 oz. "Trash Cans" while running ONE mile around the confines of Frontier Field. The race will finish on field (weather permitting). The Trash Cans will consist of mac salad, home fries and meat hot sauce (we will offer cans without the meat hot sauce).
The 10th Inning Bar at Frontier Field will be open from 6 pm until 9 pm with live music from Genesee Saw.
REGISTRATION: Registration is now open! The first 50 fans to register can do so for $25. After 50 registrations, the price will increase to $30.
PACKET PICK UP: Will be be held at Fleet Feet Sports at The Armory on Wednesday, June 26 2019 from 10am-7pm
Registration includes:
- four, 10 oz. Trash Cans
- official race t-shirt
- chip timing by YellowJacket Racing
- on-field finish line.
The ONLY way to register for the race is here on this page! You will have the ability to purchase extra race t-shirts ($15/t-shirt) when you register.
The race will be capped at 300 runners.
PRIZES: The male and female who finish with the best time will receive a Rochester Plates prize back that will include tickets and merchandise.
