Description
Are you interested in running trails but don't know how to start? Join us for our FREE Trail Running Clinic on Sunday, September 15 at the Rochester Rotary Sunshine Campus.
The clinic is designed to help participants get ready for the Sunshine Camp Trail Mix 5k on October 13. Participants of the Trail Running Clinic will receive a coupon code for $5.00 off at The Sunshine Camp Trail Mix 5k. This clinic is open to the public, even if you do not intend to run the target event.
Topics will include:
- Trail Running Footwear
- Trail Running Gear
- Protection from Insects
- Trail Markings
- Trail Etiquette
- How to Handle Obstacles
- And much, much more!
Come to the clinic prepared for a short, easy run. We will take you out onto the trails for practice.
The clinic is free, but you do need to register to attend.
The clinic will be lead by Margaret Baackes. An experienced trail runner, ultramarathoner, and the training group coordinator for Medved Running and Walking Outfitters. Mort Nace will help out a little too.
