Pre-race bib pick-up will be held at Fleet Feet Poughkeepsie from March 20-22 during store hours.
Race Information:
Join us in celebrating Maple Weekend with Dutchess County Parks! The event will kick off with a 5K run/walk in partnership with the Eastern Dutchess Road Runners Club. The 5K will take place on paved and gravel roadways within the scenic Bowdoin Park. After the race, stay for the Second Annual Best Pancake Competition Breakfast in the auditorium, featuring Dutchess County Parks maple syrup! Fun and food—what could be better?

Awards:
- Top 5 Overall Male, Female, and Non-Binary Runners.
- Additionally, each registered runner will receive an event-themed bandana.
Course Description:
Starts at Pavilion 5.
Mile 1: Runners will make a left from the starting line, then a quick right onto George T Bowdoin Way. After taking a right at Lenape Circle, runners will proceed along the auxiliary road past the Parks Maintenance buildings, then follow Maple Knoll Road around Ellessdie Chapel, past Pavilion 4, and around Maple Knoll Lodge.
Mile 2: Continuing on Maple Knoll Road, runners will turn right onto George T Bowdoin Way heading downhill. At the 4-way stop sign, they will take a right onto Maple Syrup Drive towards the next turnaround point.
Mile 3: Runners will exit Maple Syrup Drive, taking a right onto George T Bowdoin roadway downhill towards the final turnaround near Pavilion 1. They will then ascend back up the main road to finish at Pavilion 5.
Note: The majority of the course is on gravel roadways.

Time: 9:15 AM - 12:00 PM
Dutchess County Park staff and Culinary Institute of America students will team up again to claim the title of the Best Pancake of 2024. *You get to decide the winner!*
Pancake Breakfast Cost:
$5 per person (cash payment at the door). Children under 6 are free. Maple education workshops will be ongoing throughout the day, beginning at 9:30 AM.
