OASL Lead the Way Virtual 5k and 10k

Since 1953, The Ohio Association of Student Leaders has provided engaging leadership development opportunities for Ohio’s secondary school students. Through our creative, experiential programs, students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve their goals. We emphasize building self-awareness and self-esteem as a path to responsible decision-making and the practice of good citizenship. Students thrive through the exchange of ideas and the positive, diverse connections they form with each other. OASL encourages students to get involved and make positive impacts in their schools and communities.

Your participation in the Lead the Way 5K and 10K will help to insure we are able to continue offering our quality, life-changing programs at the most affordable cost possible. Our fundraising efforts also enable us to offer partial and/or full scholarships to allow more students to participate.

More than ever, students need to believe in themselves and in their ability to make a difference for others. They need to recognize that leadership starts with service. OASL’s ongoing mission is to help develop strong leaders for stronger communities, now and in the future.

SWAG

All participants will receive a vintage style cotton t-shirt, and a finisher medal.  You will receive these items, in the mail, in time for race day if you register prior to June 15th. If you register June 15 or after - we will make an effort for you to receive them - but, cannot guarantee delivery before the race.

MAILING

All SWAG items will be mailed to the address to enter while registering. If you live in Columbus, and would like to get your items in person. We will have packet pickup options the week prior to the race.

VIRTUAL RESULTS

You will be able to post your virtual results during the race period - June 29-July 5.  You run on your own course, at your own time. GPS tracking is not needed... You'll be able to post result here on runsignup.com on the results tab. We will also email out the link the week of the race.
