The Pumpkin Run Half Marathon, 10K, 5K Race & 5k Fun Run

October 19th at 9am The 2nd Annual Pumpkin Run Half-Marathon, 10k, 5k Race and Fun Run & Walk are out and back events held entirely on the paved Great Guernsey Trail. There will be music, food, entertainment, door prizes and more. Dress up in your favorite Halloween costume for a chance to win prizes for best costume. Categories include group costume, best adult and best child costumes. This will be a bib timed race with timing services provided by Muskingum Multi-Sports. This is the 3rd race in the Guernsey County Grand Prix Series. Participants that complete all four races will be awarded a Grand Prix medal.

Proceeds from the race will go towards the Guernsey County Community Development Corps many programs and projects. The Guernsey County CDC, a local 501(c)3 non-profit is committed to our community’s quality of life. The Half-Marathon, 10k, 5k Race and Fun Run & Walk are out and back events held entirely on the paved Great Guernsey Trail. The route starts at the Corduroy Rd trail head and follows the trail to each turn around and then returns to the trail head. This is a scenic, traffic free route that follows Leatherwood Creek. There will be water at various points along the trail as well as the turnarounds. Portable restrooms will be located at three points along the race course. There will also be refreshments and food at the finish line.

 

Engraved plaques will be issued to the top three overall finishers and medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each of the following age categories: 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ Walkers are welcome! Finishers’ medals will be awarded to ALL participants!

 

Race Day registration and Packet pick-up will be at the registration tent located at the trail head starting at 7:30 a.m.

 

Your race packet will include a T-shirt with race logo, swag and more. All participates registered by October 8th are guaranteed a Race T-shirt.

 

Fun Run & Walk $25.00 through October 18th – Day of Entry $30.00

5k run $30.00 through October 18th – Day of Entry $35.00

10k run $35.00 through October 18th – Day of Entry $40.00

Half-Marathon $40 through October 18th – Day of Entry $45.00
