Description
Join us Saturday, July 13th for Hospice of Guernsey’s 11th annual Flamingo 5K Memorial Run/Walk. In honor of our anniversary, we will be adding a 10K Run along with the 5k Run, 5k Walk and One Mile Memorial Walk. There is something for everyone! This is a great way to honor the memory of a lost loved one.
All proceeds raised at the event will benefit patient care and bereavement services provided by Hospice of Guernsey.

Race Course
10k, 5k, and 1 Mile Memorial Walk begin and end at 8th Street entrance of Cambridge City Park.
10k is a double loop that goes down 8th Street Road, though Northwood Cemetery and Edgeworth areas.
5k is single loop using same route as 10k.
1 Mile Memorial Walk will take shorter route through Northwood Cemetery then back to Cambridge City Park. There will be water station outside the Cemetery and at Finish along with nutrition.
Awards
10k Race and 5k Race Run's - Awards will be issued to top three overall female and male finishers in both divisions.
Awards will also be given to the top three female/male finishers in both the 10k race and 5k race in the following age categories: Under 14, 15-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 60+
5k Race Walk - Award will only be issued to the top three overall female and male finisher. Age group awards will not be awarded for this division.
*There will be a few “special” medals presented along with the Golden Flamingo Trophies. The three trophies are presented to the school, business/organization, and family/friend's groups with the most participants.
Race Results
Automatic text and email results will be sent immediately following a participants finish for those that opt-in. Instant results will also be available on site at the Results Kiosks and at the race website.
Race Packets and Finish Line Perks
Your race packet will include custom t-shirt with official race logo, memorial run bib, and other sponsor items to be determined. Water and refreshments will be available at the finish. All participants registered by June 20th are guaranteed t-shirt. Extra t-shirts will be on first come first served basis.
Entry Fees (non-refundable)
10K - $30 through July 8th Late entry $40 July 9th to race day
5k Run / Walk or 1 Mile - $25 for adults, $20 for children under 12 through July 8th Late entry $35 July 9th to race day
Early Packet Pick-up
Pre event packet pick up will be Wednesday, July 10th 9:30 AM-4:30 PM, Thursday, July 11th 9:30 AM-4:30 PM, and Friday, July 12th from 9:30 AM-12 Noon. Race day pick up will begin at 7:00 AM on race day at the Cambridge City Park Pavilion #1
