Leslie was diagnosed with diabetes in second grade. She was the first in the Canfield school district.
As she grew up she wanted to help others. She became a medical assistant.
She would have loved to have set this race up with Lori (the race director) to help find a cure for this disease.
I am sure she looks down every year as this continues to grow and is grateful to all of you.
