I'll Make Them Pay 5K

A fast, competitive, and fantastic 5K! We are teaming up with Tim Misny for this event to Downtown Cleveland Ohio. You can expect a great course combined with fun along the way. Experience one of the BEST post-race parties after you run! All runners of all ages and abilities are welcome. ​

Race Benefactor - Proceeds from the event will be donated to The City Mission in Cleveland in memory of Felix Acierno.

​Awards – Awards will be given to the top 5 Men and Women Overall, top Masters (40-49) Man and Women, top Grand Masters (50-59) Man and Woman, top Senior (60+) Man and Woman, and the top 3 finishers in each age group - 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

​Prize Purse Men & Women - We are offering a cash prize purse as follows:

• ​1st place overall Men / Women - $750
• 2nd place overall Men / Women - $600
• 3rd place overall Men / Women - $500
• 4th place overall Men / Women - $300
• 5th place overall Men / Women - $200​
• 1st place Men / Women Masters - $150
• 1st place Men / Women Grand Masters - $150

Please read the below Runner Instructions for the event this SUNDAY in Downtown Cleveland!

Race Location: Voinovich Bicentennial Park - 800 E 9th Street Pier, Cleveland, OH 44114
Parking: Various places near East 9th Street. Just walk down East 9th Street to the pier. Look for the tents near the CLEVELAND sign.

Packet Pickup: ONLY on Sunday before the race starting at 6:30am. We will give you the option to take your shirt before the start OR after you finish. That way you don't have to walk back to your car before the start of the race.

Start / Finish: We are moving the start / finish to inside of Voinovich Bicentennial Park. Please review the attached site map / course map. Start time is 8:00am SHARP

Awards: We will be presenting the awards right at 9:05am. Please stick around if you won an award. Results can be viewed pretty quickly after you finish at www.cantonruns.com (it will also be on your race bib).

Course: It is an out and back course with one water station. Once you leave the park you will run on the RIGHT side of the street as if you were driving a car. PLEASE KEEP TO THE RIGHT as the faster runners will be coming right back at you.

MERCH: Tim will be selling a variety of Misny Merch at the event. Please bring a few bucks to get some of this awesome gear!
