Description
The Buckeye Purple Heart Foundation & Buckeye Chapter 500 of the Military Order of the Purple Heart are proud to present our Annual 5K Night Run/Walk to honor those military veterans wounded or killed in service to our Nation. With a unique start time of 9:00 pm, to recognize the solemnity of the Purple Heart Medal, this will surely be a race like no other!

2022 Race Honoree
This year, we are celebrating the 90th anniversary of the revival of the Badge of Military Merit as the Purple Heart Medal & honoring Columbus native and Purple Heart Veteran Tom Beck - a wonderful & caring man who served our country bravely during the Korean War, then came home and proudly served his community.
