The Kaleidoscope Virtual Run & Walk
The Kaleidoscope Run & Walk is a virtual race. We may be socially distant, but we can all share these miles in solidarity. As you take part, you can choose to cover 5K, 10K, a half marathon, or a marathon, and you can complete your distance anytime from May 8 through May 23. Just put in the miles, share your results with us, and earn your unique finisher medal and race shirt.
Why the Kaleidoscope?
We all come from different backgrounds. Whether it be ethnic, racial, socio-economic, or something as simple as your background in running or walking. We can all bring our own unique flavor and ideas to form a beautiful community of runners and walkers, much like the different colors and hues band together uniquely to form a beautiful kaleidoscope. All of the pieces of a kaleidoscope are infinitely stronger when they band together and unite as one, just as we are all so much stronger when we unite as a community under one cause.
In tough times, we often hear tremendous stories of perseverance, desire, willpower, and more. From these come outstanding achievement. All of these traits are attainable if we band together as a community and rise up in this great time of uncertainty. There is no better time than now. By creating this virtual run/walk, we hope that we can help to further a beautiful sense of community and togetherness, because that is what our world needs right now. Get outside as you're able. Go for a run or walk. Let yourself be immersed in one of life's greatest pleasures and let's show everyone that nothing can stop us. Blaze your own trail. Run or walk one of your favorite scenic routes. Go the distance for social distance. Our global running and walking community can be a beautiful kaleidoscope for others to see. It all starts here.

Your registration fee includes ALL of the following:
- Kaleidoscope Run/Walk finisher medal
- Kaleidoscope Run/Walk short-sleeve sublimated t-shirt
- Kaleidoscope Run/Walk bib number
- Shipping of all items direct to your door (4/21/21 update: materials will be mailed in late May. Our t-shirt supplier has experienced a delay and will not be shipping to us until 5/24)
- Being part of a running/walking community movement of epic proportions!
This is our race shirt, it's very colorful! As soon as we have a mock-up of our medal, we'll share this here, too.

CHOOSE YOUR DISTANCE
Put your winter and spring training into action. We're providing distance options of 5K, 10K, half marathon, and marathon. You'll report your results for your event as detailed on the race website and the result pages will be created dynamically as participants self-report. Pick your favorite distance and register today! Please note: Kaleidoscope Virtual Run/Walk swag is the same for all distance options.

About the event organizers
Columbus Running Company Event Management is an event management and race timing company that finds itself in a unique moment when we can't go out and put on mass participation races. We hope that you can join us as we host our virtual event, and we can't wait for you to see a more traditional starting line soon if that's your thing!
