The run will begin at Antrim Park which is connected to The Olentangy Trail. The Olentangy Trail offers an amazing landscape to enjoy scenery through a seamless trail from Worthington to downtown Columbus. The trail winds through several neighborhoods along the Olentangy River, with trailheads at several major city parks, including Antrim Park and Whetstone Park. The path also travels through the heart of the Ohio State University campus. The trail will continue and connect to the Scioto Mile.  A string of prominent parks, civic landmarks, and promenades.  At the south edge of downtown, the path winds through Scioto Audubon Park, including a trailhead at the Audubon Nature Center. At the north edge of downtown, the trail directly reconnects to the Olentangy Trail.

There will be a water station located in the parking lot located at The Boat House with coordinates 39.965388, -83.019328. This water station will be at the ~9.5-mile point and the 15-mile point.

At this moment, no more water stations are provided stations along the route. We are looking for volunteers to increase the number of water stations. Please, plan accordingly.

There will be no refund, no transfer, no waitlist, no course markings, no t-shirt, no medal, no certificate. Just the pure joy of running. Plus YOU will earn 2-points for the UTMB® World Series upon completion of the event. So make sure your GPS watches are fully charged!

This event may not be for everyone. But anyone can accomplish the task. You can either walk or run the event, yes...but you must strategically plan your execution.

  1. No official course marking. You have the marking from the Columbus Recreation and Parks to guide and help you navigate to stay on course.
  2. The support is VERY limited. You will have the opportunity to stop by your car when you come through Antrim Park to refuel around mile 24.5. You'll need to be very self-reliant and very efficient on fuel and fluid.
  3. The cutoff is 8 hours and 30 minutes. Pretty generous time. So you can walk 16-minute miles and complete this event!
