Timbuk Winter Run Challenge

Early Packet Pickup

Save a bit of time in line on race day and stop by Columbus Running Company's Westerville location (50 N State St 43081) on Friday, February 16 (10 AM - 8 PM) or Saturday, February 17 (10 AM - 6 PM) and get your gear early. While you're there make sure you have all the fuel you need for race day, and ask the expert staff for their help in making sure you stay warm and dry on race day. 

If you cannot make early packet pickup, there will also be pickup available on race day inside the garden center at Timbuk Farms (2030 Timbuk Rd 43023) starting at 11:30 AM and continuing through five minutes prior to your event's start time (12:55 PM for the 22K and 11K options, and 1:10 PM for the 5K).

Parking

There is a large parking lot near the start/finish area. Please use caution when leaving the race site as there may still be participants out on the roadways. Thank you!

Race Day Timeline

• 11:30 AM - Race day check-in begins for all events. Please note: there is no race day registration for this event
• 12:50 PM - Final instructions provided for all 22K and 11K participants
• 12:55 PM - 22K and 11K check-in is closed, all 22K and 11K participants head outside to the start line
• 1:00 PM - RACE START for the 22K (double-loop) and 11K (single-loop) Timbuk Winter Run Challenge
• 1:05 PM - Final instructions provided for all 5K participants
• 1:10 PM - 5K check-in is closed, all 5K participants head outside to the start line
• 1:15 PM - RACE START for the 5K Timbuk Winter Run Challenge
• 2:15 PM - 5K Award Ceremony - inside the Garden Center
• 2:45 PM - 11K Award Ceremony - inside the Garden Center
• 3:15 PM - 22K Award Ceremony - inside the Garden Center

Safety

For the 22K and 11K distances, there will be two aid stations on the loop (one that you'll pass twice each loop). The 22K will have a total of 7 on-course aid stations, and the 11K will have a total of 3 on-course aid stations. The 5K will pass one aid station twice for a total of 2 on-course aid stations.

We have a time limit on the 11K and 22K courses of 3 hours. Any 22K participant finishing their first loop by 2:30 PM will be given a 22K finish time upon the completion of their second loop. Any 22K participant finishing their first loop after 2:30 PM will be transferred to and be given an 11K finish time. The 5K has a course time limit of 2 hours 45 minutes.

For the safety of all involved, this event:

• does not allow for participation with strollers
• does not allow for participation with pets
• does not allow any late starts
• will not allow a second loop to begin after 2:30 PM as detailed above

Awards

Special recognition and awards will be provided in each race distance to the top three overall female/male/non-binary finishers, as well as the top female/male/non-binary finisher in each of the following age groups: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & Over.
