Description
The CAN CAN 5K RUN & WALK and The KIDS CAN FUN RUN are presented by Johnstown Lifestyle.
Johnstown Lifestyle, established in January 2024, is a nonprofit wellness organization located in Johnstown, Ohio.
Our mission: To Be a Community Resource for Healthy Living.
Our vision: A Thriving Community That Is Deeply Connected To Health and Wellness.
Johnstown CAN recently merged with Johnstown Lifestyle to become a large wellness organization for the City of Johnstown. Together, we will be a beacon of light in the Johnstown community by promoting healthy lifestyle initiatives and supporting other organizations which help our citizens to be whole.

All 5K race finishers will receive the choice of a specialty bottle of water or a bottle of gatorade and a CAN CAN 5K shaker bottle.
All KIDS CAN FUN RUN participants will receive a token for ice cream. Participants do not receive a T-shirt.

Awards
The Fastest Male and Female in Johnstown will each receive a $250.00 award**, donated by the Johnstown Chamber of Commerce. The winners will also be given the honor to be in the 2024 Johnstown Christmas Parade. The winner must be a Johnstown resident.
**Note: if the winners are a high school or college student athlete, he/she will be given the opportunity to donate the $250 to a charity or school program of their choice. He/she will in turn, receive a $25 gift card.
First place winners in each male and female age category will receive a $25 gift certificate, donated by Elite Team Sporting Goods (Jill and Don Harvey, owners).
Age categories: 1-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
Winners not available at the awards ceremony will be contacted by email.
Dates
The face fee is $30 until May 24 (includes the processing fee).
The rate increases to $35 on May 25.
The rate increases to $40 on race day.
Registration and Race Packet Pick Up
Information will be coming soon regarding Race Packet Pick Up Locations on Friday, June 7, 2024.
We encourage as many people as possible to pick up your race packet on Friday to reduce waiting time on Saturday morning.
Race registration starts at 7am.

Course Map
The race will start and finish at the Johnstown Bigelow Square in the center of downtown Johnstown. It will start out on blocked off city streets then proceed to the TJ Evans Bike Path. From there, the route will continue to and through the Johnstown Monroe Schools Campus, head north on Oregon Street, and back to Bigelow square. There will be course signs and flaggers along the route and at intersections.
There will be water stations along the route with basic first aid available. The Monroe Township Fire Department will be available for higher level first aid needs.
