Kickstart Your New Year with the CERC Daily Habits Challenge!

This January, commit to living a healthier, happier life with the CERC New Year’s Daily Habits Challenge! Over the next month, we’ll be working together to build positive daily habits that improve our overall well-being. By checking off your daily goals, you’ll earn points, stay motivated, and compete for fantastic prizes along the way!

But it's not just about winning—it's about creating lasting habits, celebrating our progress, and supporting each other as a community. At CERC, we’re more than just a running group—we’re a team dedicated to wellness and growth.

Here’s How It Works:

Each day, aim to complete the 5 daily habits below, and earn 1 point for each habit you complete. Keep track of your progress, and at the end of the day, log your points in the results section. The more consistent you are, the more chances you’ll have to win!

  1. Hydration: Drink at least half your body weight in ounces of water. (For example, if you weigh 150 lbs, aim for 75 ounces of water). Staying hydrated is essential for energy and overall health!
  2. Nutrition: Choose a nutrition goal that suits your lifestyle. Whether it's hitting a protein target, eating more fruits and veggies, or sticking to a specific diet plan, the goal is to make it healthy and sustainable.
  3. Movement: Get 30 minutes of movement each day. Whether you’re walking, running, doing yoga, or hitting the gym, find something that gets you moving!
  4. Reading: Dedicate 15 minutes to reading. Whether it’s a book, an article, or an audiobook, reading stimulates your mind and enriches your day.
  5. Stretching: Spend 10 minutes stretching each day. It can be a yoga session or just some light stretches at home—just be sure your stretching time doesn't overlap with your movement minutes!
Logging Your Progress:

At the end of each day, tally up how many of the 5 habits you completed. Enter your score in the results section (e.g., if you completed all 5 habits, log a “5”; if you missed 1, log a “4”). Aim to hit all 5 every day to maximize your chances of winning prizes!

Weekly and Grand Prizes:
  • Weekly Prizes: If you complete all 5 habits every day for a week (Monday–Sunday), you’ll be entered into a drawing for exciting weekly prizes! Note: To be eligible for weekly prizes, all habits must be logged by noon on the following Monday.
  • Grand Prize: The top performers will be entered into a drawing at the end of the month for a grand prize worth $50+!
