NAMIWalks Richland County

NAMIWalks is the mental health world's beacon of hope for good reason: the energy and impact of individuals who have heartfelt stories to tell, not to mention bold new ones to write. We band together every year for a cause that's near and dear, without fear of stigma, and with the guarantee of encouragement. Join NAMI Richland County for our first ever NAMIWalks event on Saturday, May 31, 2025! Whether you know someone fighting depression & anxiety or walk to in remembrance of a loved one, come and join our efforts in fighting stigma surrounding mental health and support the community's grass roots nonprofit organization, NAMI Richland County, in their effort to grow education and reduce stigma!

There are 3-ways to participate in this experience:

1. Free family fun-day event for all at the Ontario Marshal Park. Bring the whole family for a day of fun with a bounce house, face painting, balloon art, yard games, food trucks, a DJ and more!  

2. Free sign-up for the 1-mile fun walk at REGISTER FOR THE FREE 1-MILE WALK HERE. You are not required to help us fundraise, but we encourage any support you're able to provide whether that be monetary, volunteering, or word of mouth. Individuals who raise $100 will earn an official NAMIWalks t-shirt.  More incentives given to higher dollars raised. Please see namirc.org for the prize sheet.

 3. $40 registration for the 5K race. 5K Registrants will receive a race bib, 5k t-shirt designed by a local student, and swag bag.  Registrants will automatically be enrolled in the NAMIWalks fundraising site. Participants who raise $100 will earn an official NAMIWalks t-shirt along with their 5K shirt. More incentives given to higher dollars raised. Please see namirc.org for the prize sheet
