CHIP TIMING
Once again, this year's race will be chip timed with Ipico shoe tags. All Times will be read electronically. You do not have to have a tag to participate but you must have a tag to receive a time. To receive a time, you must properly attach shoe tag to your shoe. No tag, no time! Shoe tags will be distributed on race-day only. Tags are re-useable and will be collected at the finish line. If you are given a tag, you must agree to return it for reuse. Check out the video to see how to properly attach your timing chip.
Emilie's Story
Emilie’s Story Emilie Grace Olsen was born in Jiangxi Province, Peoples Republic of China on October 10, 2001. Emilie was adopted and brought to Cincinnati, Ohio by Marc and Cynthia Olsen on August 23, 2002. Emilie adored her family, friends, horses, playing volleyball and had a passion to excel in everything she attempted. Emilie loved hanging at amusement parks with her friends and fishing in the great outdoors (while wearing her favorite camo). According to her friends, Emilie was the type of kid to help anyone she could...no matter what problem they were facing. Emilie knew where she came from and because of that she was grateful. She had a huge heart and wanted to share with others as much as possible. Emilie committed suicide on December 11, 2014 . She will always be in our heart and never forgotten…
