Race Day Packet Pick Up - Saturday, February 8: 8:00-8:45 A.M.

RACE STARTS AT  9:00 AM

This is a time prediction 5k run, anybody fast or slow can win by being the closest to finish to their predicted time. So.....

In keeping with the fun spirit of the event please note: NO TIMING DEVICES ALLOWED DURING THE RACE, INCLUDING WATCHES, GPS UNITS AND HEART MONITORS, HEADPHONES, HEADSETS, OR EAR BUDS.  Please do not ask for an exception to these restrictions, it causes the race director great distress!

Due to insurance restrictions, pets and strollers are not permitted on the race course.

Awards:

Awards to the runner closest to his/her predicted time; not always to the fastest overall runners. Awards will go as deep as the prize pile. Great Prizes!

NOTE # 1:  This is entirely an outdoor event!  It's February in Ohio folks!  Dress and plan accordingly!  We have plenty of great snacks to fuel you afterward, but remember the best place to wait for that last finisher and awards to be determined may be your own vehicle.  We'll make sure to loudly announce when it's time to give the awards.

NOTE # 2: In the event of a snow emergency or dangerous weather conditions, the race will be canceled and arrangements will be made for entrants to pick up hats.  If the weather gets serious, please check www.summitathletic.com for any last minute race information.

The course map below shows one lap of the race. Two laps must be completed on the park road that circles the lake plus the service road spur before pulling off into the parking lot where the finish line is.
